Annual Spring Auction

We hold our Annual Spring Auction every year in April or May. This year we are having a 4 day online auction, from Thursday April 27, 2023 - Sunday April 30, 2023. We ask our families to share the link for everyone to enjoy bidding. (There are no deliveries though from the school). Pick up day is the Saturday after the online auction.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and accounts for a large portion of the costs to run our school! A portion of your auction purchases will also go towards meeting your fundraising obligation.

We also will have our ADULT ONLY (Parent night out) in person kick-off auction, Thursday April 27th 6:30-8:00pm in the big hall. There will be specific items just for that night’s auction. It is meant to be a fun social event for parents to relax without their children present, but you are welcome to invite as many of your adult family, friends, and neighbors as you would like. Watch for more information through school communications. 
 
The auction night is an All School Mandatory Meeting which takes place in the first part of the evening to approve the budget and new board members for the next school year. If you choose not to attend the auction portion of the evening, it is important that a parent attend the first 15 minutes to vote on the budget and new board members.

Benson Hill Cooperative Preschool and our families are very thankful for the many generous businesses who have made contributions to our school.  We usually receive over 40 items donated and have had as many as 60 items by the day of the auction. Current donations include merchandise and gift cards from local breweries, Seattle Sports teams merchandise & tickets are a huge hit, wine tasting tour, Movie Tickets, dinner night packages, gift cards. Tickets to places like the Pacific Science Center, the Museum of Flight, MoPOP, and much much more. Themed baskets full of fun for everyone.
